Tile with Style: Learn the Essentials of Working with Ceramic Tile
Saturday, September 19th | 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Come learn the essentials of working with ceramic tile and discover the ease of this often intimidating craft as you create a functional, durable piece with salvaged cabinet door fronts and leftover tile. The techniques you learn can be applied to kitchens, bathrooms, or anywhere else you want to tile! Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring any special tiles or an item you’d like to tile (ex: a tray or trivet) with you!

Oops, Did I Break That? Home Repair Basics for Renters and Homeowners
Tuesday, August 25th | 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
This class will walk through the steps of repairing drywall holes (plus how to avoid making them in the first place) and go over the basics of how toilets work, along with their common problems. You can also submit your own questions to have them addressed during class. After completing this hands-on workshop, you will leave knowing how to tackle common home repair and maintenance tasks (and when to call in an expert).

Wired Up! An Introduction to Home Electrical Systems
Saturday, July 11th, 10 a.m – 1 p.m.
Learn how to navigate a breaker box, interpret different colored wires, trace wiring, and change an outlet safely! Brian Martinelli, a local welder with years of experience performing home electrical work and professionally wiring illuminated signs, will walk you through the principles of home electrical systems.

Basic Woodworking Workshop
Saturday, June 27, 2:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Learn introductory woodworking skills from Heather DeVries of Bettie Rockers and the Sunnyland Sawdust Collective. This class will cover how to use power tools properly and safely to build a birdhouse out of salvaged lumber. Along with new skills, you’ll gain the confidence to take on more DIY projects!
