Volunteering at The RE Store is an excellent way to support our mission, give back to the community, and gain practical experience in reuse and retail related fields. Our needs change based on current events and opportunities, adding flexibility to get you involved in ways that inspire you.

Volunteer opportunities

By volunteering with The RE Store, your passion and skills are put to good use building a strong and supportive community. Take a leadership role, use your communication skills, organize merchandise, educate your neighbors, or provide administrative support.

  • General volunteers – long-term volunteers aged 18+ who come regularly to The RE Store to help with various tasks.
  • Group Volunteersgroups of people aged 18+ representing any type of organization who come as a whole to complete whole projects.
  • Special Event – volunteers aged 18+ who assist with special events.

Get started

To get started, fill out our volunteer application . A staff person will respond to you within two weeks to schedule an orientation and get you on your way to helping out!

Volunteer and Community Service Application

    Any persons convicted of theft, shoplifting, violent or sexual crimes must meet with the Community Jobs Training manager before working at THE RE Store, must provide contact information for your probation officer and will be accepted on a case by case basis.
