The RE Store, SaviBank, and Heliotrope hotel are heading up the first annual Trick or Treat at the Fountain, a family-friendly Halloween celebration at the Fountain District.
“The Fountain District is such a welcoming and creative area of town. We’re excited to provide this opportunity for families to re-discover the many wonderful community resources that exist here,” says Kurt Gisclair, Director of The RE Store.
Families are invited to participate in the first annual Trick or Treat at the Fountain on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 2:30-5:30pm. Local businesses and organizations in the Fountain District will hand out goodies and offer up fun activities to kids and their families. The Fountain District is the area of Bellingham around Meridian Street made up of the Columbia, Cornwall Park, and Lettered Streets neighborhoods. It is bordered to the south by Girard Street, to the north by W. Illinois Street, to the west by Elm Street, and to the east by Grove Street.
Businesses throughout the Fountain District will be participating and will announce their participation with a balloon by their front door. “Local businesses are so excited to take part in a trick-or-treating event. Many have been celebrating Halloween with activities and goodies for years and are excited to welcome other local businesses to the fun,” says Seana Olberg, Vice President Branch Manager of SaviBank.
Free trick-or-treating supplies are available at SaviBank on the corner of Broadway and Girard. The evening will commence at 5:30pm at Heliotrope Hotel with apple cider, snacks, and family friendly games.
Businesses interested in participating should contact Seana Olberg, of SaviBank at solberg@savibank.com.
