Support Flood Relief Efforts in Whatcom County

Together, we can generate $10,000 to rebuild

Whatcom County witnessed historical flooding in November 2021. Although this is months behind us, supply chain shortages, ongoing rain events, and the devastating amount of damage from the initial flooding makes the rebuilding process slow and ongoing. We have the opportunity to provide our community members with affordable, readily available materials from The RE Store. And we’re asking for your help. Together, we can provide 100 community members with $100 gift cards to The RE Store. From now until January 28th, buy a flood relief gift card to The RE Store and we will match your gift to double your impact. Pay it forward and we can help our community rebuild.

Who receives these gift cards?

Gift cards for folks impacted by flooding will be available at the Whatcom Strong donation center. Gift cards can be used for in-store or online purchases and never expire. Call us about delivery options.

Can I buy a gift card for someone specific?

We are unable to ensure that a flood relief gift card can be delivered to someone specific. If you have a specific person in mind, we recommend purchasing a regular gift card to The RE Store. Regular gift cards are available for purchase online here or in-store.

Flood relief gift cards are also available for purchase online here or in-store. Our store staff will differentiate between the two options.

What if I have building materials to donate?

The RE Store accepts building material donations. While we are unable to track material donations for specific recipients, we pride ourselves in our affordable pricing. Your donation will help a community member complete their building project at an affordable price point.

If you are interested in donating supplies specifically for flood relief, review the updated supplies list from the Whatcom Strong donation center and donate through them.
