The RE Store accepts building materials in good condition at either of our store locations. We accept items from homeowners, contractors, and businesses.
Materials can be dropped off until 1 hour before closing. Our stores are open Monday - Saturday from 9 - 6 and on Sundays from 10 - 5.
Trade Credits and Tax-Deductible Donations
Depending on the materials that you bring in or have picked up, you may be eligible for:
In-Store Trade Credit - for 25 percent of our retail price.
Example: We give you 10 dollars trade credit for a door that we sell for 40 dollars.Tax receipt-- you honestly determine the value of your donation to our non-profit organization. Please consult a tax expert regarding tax deductions.
Please call ahead to find out whether or not we are interested in your items.
*Please note that if our Pick-Up Service comes to your location, the trade credit value will assessed at 5-10% of the RE Store sales value. Tax receipt donations are still determined by you if we come and pick up your items.
Picking and Choosing Materials
While we want to keep as much as we can out of the landfill, we are selective and must always look before accepting items. Experience has shown us that some items are very difficult to sell or we are overstocked. We can't promise that we will take everything that you would like to give us, but we will do our best to let you know about other alternatives. If you are wondering what materials we accept, it is easier to list what we don't accept.
