Bellingham
The original RE Store is now the largest and
most innovative retail operation in downtown Bellingham.  The store features over 30,000 square feet of high-quality, unique, and ever-changing materials for your home, business, shop, or garden.  Map and Directions

Seattle
The second RE Store opened in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle in 1999. This smaller store is well-known amongst Seattle designers and remodelers and in the rapidly growing regional green building industry.  Both stores sell a wide assortment of used materials including cabinets, doors, flooring, hardware, windows, lumber, lighting, sinks, tubs, trim/molding, and much more.

The RE Store Accepts Your Materials

If you are finishing a remodel project or cleaning out the garage, dont pay money to dump useable building materials or let them rot in the backyard! 

We accept items from homeowners,
contractors, and businesses. 

Drop-offs are accepted at each store from
9-5 Mon-Sat and 10-4 on Sundays.
Drop-offs are not accepted during the last hour each day due to staffing.

Depending on the materials that you bring in or have picked up, you may be eligible for:

• In-Store Trade Credit - for 25 percent of what we sell the item for in the store. 
  Example: We give you 10 dollars trade credit for a door that we sell for 40 dollars.
  
• Tax receipt - you honestly determine the value of your donation to our non-profit organization. Please consult an accountant regarding tax deductions.

*Please note that if our Pick-Up Service comes to your location, the trade credit value will assessed at 15 percent of the RE Store sales value.  Tax receipt donations are still determined by you if we come and pick up your items.

Picking and Choosing Materials

While we want to keep as much as we can out of the landfill, we are selective and must always look carefully before accepting items. Please consult our Moratorium List for items that we do not accept.
